Lithium Batteries

Brighsun New Energy’s Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery won the Guinness World Record in Nov 2015 for the Greatest Distance travelled by an Electric Bus (non-solar) on a single electric charge - 1,018 kms. Lithium sulphur battery is known to have high energy density, low in production cost and environmentally friendly. If successfully industrialised via further research and development, 2U Li-S battery system is able to power up electronic vehicles to achieve milage per charge that would surpass existing gasoline-powered vehicles.

2U Tech is a division that researches and develops emerging technologies. The company is currently developing Lithium-Sulphur (Li-S) Battery technology for low-cast, green and sustainable batteries for industrial applications.
